UI of Lollipop upgrade for Sony Xperia series

New things UI in Lollipop upgrade for Sony Xperia series

As Sony sources said in Dec2014 they are releasing Android lollipop upgrade for Sony Xperia series . A tweet from xperia series mentioned they are rolling out the update for Xperia Z3 and Z2 . You can check there project AOSP here.

Upgradable devices of Sony are as follows.

The Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1S, Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z1 Compact, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3V, and the Xperia Z3 Compact.

Sony also providing the Lollipop upgrade 5.0 to Tablet also.

UI:

Android lollipop is based on materialistic design (i.e card type design).  When you  open the UI it is something  like flat design for contact and arrow keys used for accessibility.

Notifications :

The revamp is made on notification bar in lollipop upgrade for Sony Xperia series.  Rather covering whole UI for bar it covers only part of phone.
