Lenovo S60 smartphone should I buy or not

After gaining massive success from predecessor smartphones, Chinese smartphone maker company Lenovo launched another smartphone in Indian market. Today Lenovo launched S series smartphone “Lenovo S60” in Indian smartphone market. Article about Lenovo S60 smartphone should I buy or not.

Lenovo is selling Lenovo S60 smartphone in different stores,  Amazon, Flipkart and company brand store thedostore.com from coming Monday. Pricing of Lenovo S60 is kept as 12999 Rs. It will be good competitor to Moto G2 (2nd Gen ) Let’s see what are the specification offered in Lenovo S60 which makes Lenovo S60 worth to buy or not.

Specification:

SIM:

Lenovo S60 smartphone offer Dual Sim with dual stand by functionality with 4G support.

Processor and RAM:

64 bit 1.2GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 along with 2 GB RAM. Wait It only offered Quad Core processor where as Lenovo A7000 having Octa core processor.

Graphics:

For Video and Gaming Graphics offered is Mali 450 MP GPU which is quite good.

Battery Life:

Aspect to look for any phone before buying any smartphone is that phones battery life. Non Removable Li-ion Polymer 2150 mAh . which offers 16hr talk time on 3G network/240 hr standby on 3G. Battery capacity is not up to exception or we can say as compared with price.

Look and Display:

Design is as similar to Lenovo A6000 just little bit minor changes. Body is made of polycarbonate fiber that’s why it is lightweight 128g. Screen ratio 143.3 x 72 x 7.7 mm. 5 inch of IPS capactive screen with no gorilla glass protection screen with 720*1280 pixel(294 dpi).

Memory:

Lenovo S60 comes with inbuilt ROM of 8GB and expandable up to 32GB. Internal memory offered in Lenovo S60 is not up to mark to it’s competitor Moto G2 which comes with 16 GB internal and expandable memory.

Camera:

13 MP rear autofocus LED flash camera and 5MP front camera is incorporated into Lenovo S60 smatphone. But camera quality offered in S60 that’s what makes special for this phone right now.

Speaker:

Louad speaker Yes. No extra technology offered in the phone such as Dolby Atmos.

OS and UI:

Lenovo Vibe UI 2.0 based on Androit Kitkat 4.4. Upgradable to lollipop OS.

Extrastuff:

Accelerometer, proximity, compass.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  1.  Good Camera quality at price range
  2.  RAM sufficient till now to play heavy Game.
  3.  Pre installed Do it and other apps.

Cons:

  1.   Internal Memory less as compared to 8GB
  2.   No LED backlit button.
  3.   Vibe UI is quite complex you feel at start.
